Will FT-86 pull 1g on skidpad stock?
Or will that be left for aftermarket suspension and tire upgrades?
|
you know 1g feels like? iirc GT-R barely hit 1g, I highly doubt FT86c gonna be getting 1g stock

The 370z I believe pulls 0.99g, the Cayman pulls just over 1g, even a FF Mazdaspeed3 pulls 0.89. Ultimately it will probably come down to the tires Toyota decided to stock these with. |
with good summer tires, i'm guessing .96g stock. my MR2 hits over 1g with the slicks on (duh), and when i race karts, sometimes i'll get >2 lateral g's.

Didn't have lunch with him though. :( |
Hahaha awesome thread :D way to OT Ichi :p
On topic my 323f could pull .95g on Streets (street tires) but with the d2 coilovers and wider tires. Never measured it on the track tho :( Will measure the rx8 next time I think the 86 will do that with Mayb semislick and stock suspension. Well at least it should. |

I got to hang with Patrick Long (24hr LeMans Driver and factory Porsche driver) at a recent all Porsche HPDE day at my local track. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...305_172641.jpg |
1g on skid pad nope, but if you go 80mph+ balls out drift yeah

Isn't Patrick Long a NASCAR driver too? Giving more off topic, whoever here took a pic w Orido, then I'll be most envious. Orido is my hero! lol |
