Trading in 2016 BRZ for 2017 BRZ?

So... I want to trade in my 2016 BRZ for the 2017 BRZ.

Is it worth it or no? What are your guys' opinions?

:thanks:

No. Do the math. It will cost you $$$$.

Or...

Do it! It's your money, YOLO!

It is your choice. Good luck!

If money isn't a concern because it's a poor financial decision and having a little stronger scent of new car smell is important, yes.

Honestly i'd say no. The amount of money that it would cost you to upgrade you could spend on bolt on mods that would give the same or better performance that the 2017 would have. It's why i went for the 2016 instead of the 17

you will get hosed - ESPECIALLY in california with the double whammy of no tax break on trade difference, and the sky-high tax rates out here.

not worth it.

Why? Keep the 16'.

What is it about the 17 that is so much better?

Sport-Tech 10-10-2016 09:35 AM

Only you can make the determination if the hit in the pocketbook is worth it for you - go test drive a '17 and compare. Better still wait until you can test out a PP '17 as the difference should be even greater.

If you had like a 14 and your lease was up that be one thing, but to switch so soon after a year and the car doesn't have that much changes to justify another purchase....

On the interior? I'm not sure the addition of a bunch of fake, glossy carbon fiber pieces in random locations, the world's ugliest steering wheel controls, random piano black trim around the head unit, and the laziest driver information display insertion in the history of automotive design counts as "refinement."
