MY17 fuel pump chirping
 

*I also posted this in the frs/86 general forum but hopefully the mods will allow it to gather votes for a bit from each subforum to get the most accurate information needed.

I know this is more of an Issues/Warranty/Recalls/TSB thread kind of question but I would imagine most new 17' owners aren't frequenting that subforum much...yet.
So is this not an issue at all for you new owners or is it still there?

My '13 doesn't chirp hardly at all anymore :)

My Chevy work van isn't chirping either but I don't want to know about that stuff, just the MY17s. :D

Dang, I guess I should have made the poll with a third option for "I have something that chirps".

Nearly 1500 miles in, no chirping so far.

I heard it faintly only when I was surrounded by walls when in a mcdonalds drivethru. Otherwise on the street never.

Haven't heard it yet on my MY17 BRZ. I've been using Shell 91 exclusively.

900 miles on mine as of this morning, have yet to hear the chirp inside nor outside the car.

You sure it wasn't the McChicken thingys chirping before they got fried?

I bought my 2015 is September of last year and didn't hear a chirp until bringing it out of storage this spring. It had 4,000km put on it in 2015, I believe.

I'm not sure this is going to mean anything until more miles/km are racked up.

1,200 Miles no Noise, two trips to nearby national park, Review drives, daily commute. No noise

A little over 500 miles on my '17 BRZ. No chirping yet.

My '13 FRS had the chirps like nobody's business.
