Engine making clanging sound after oil change
Need help. My car has been stuck in the garage for the last couple days. Did my first oil change and it started making a loud clanging sound when it was finished. Did everything i was supposed to do. Even bought the expensive synthetic oil. Drained the oil, flushed it with distilled water until clear, removed the filter and added the new filter and oil. Even turned it over real quick after flushing it to clean it out. Once the oil was in the engine was rough and turned back home after 10 miles.
Searched for answers but couldn't find any. Was the oil sludging up or what? What should i do next? Can't afford to take it to the dealer. |
Unless you're trolling here...................you flushed exactly what with distilled water?
If you say "the engine".............my next question would be........"who the hell told you to flush your engine with distilled water?" If you say "my buddy"...............my response is "go tell your buddy to pay up for a new engine". Out.......... |
