Gram Lights 57Xtreme 18x8.5 5x100 45mm

Hi guys,

anyone have/Seen Gram Lights 57Xtreme in 18x8.5 +45 but NOT Race Spec (the oval white "cutouts" in the spokes) Do these exist??

I have ordered what I thought was these for the fronts, but am afraid that I ordered the race spec, and they will not match my rears- I've seen them on one or two sites, but look kinda like a stock picture

Thanks, And here's to hoping I won't have 2 extra wheels soon :/

i know the +42's come in both cutout and non cutout styles. hadn't heard of +45s though.

Apparently the +45 are sometime referred to as the "Face 2s" as well :/

Here are the different 18X8.5 5X100 options straight from rays japan:
https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/product...wheel=57EX_STD

The "cutouts" are SP spec. No cutouts are STD.

45 offset are FACE1 (little to no concave), 42 offset is FACE2 (more concave).

I have 42 offset FACE 2.

Incidentally these (18X8.5 +42 FACE2) were made for GT86 fitment (no hub centric ring required).

The 18X9.5s have a wider center bore than the car wheel hub and thus would benefit from a hub centric ring.

Do you have pics of your setup somewhere? I was looking at doing 18x9.5 +40 in the rear and 18x8.5 +42 in the front. I was curious about both how the +42 front fits the fender and how the Face-2 looks on the 8.5.

Pictures are in the staggered thread :

Looks really good to me, I was planning to go 8.5 front and 9.5 rear but after seeing they make concave in 8.5 I'd probably go face 2 concave all around

Let me know if you are able to find the 8.5 +42 with face2 anywhere. I went to multiple vendors asking for this and everyone told me it was discontinued...

purchased mine through evasive. they are really close to the rays socal hub. if they don't have them in stock (at their warehouse or rays) will take around 6 months for the order.

I will be selling 2 18.5 x 9.5s soon once I finish getting my 8.5s powdercoat ed.

any tire less than 255 will have the stretched look on the 8.5s btw.

Interesting. I went to Evasive and they told me they couldn't get that face design with that width and offset.. I already have a set though and am happy with the way it looks.

I have 235 on my 8.5s and they don't look stretched..

Damn, that bums me out, I ordered the wrong fronts. Really wanted the more concave. Looks like I might have some +45s for sale if they ever even arrive!

I'll call my guy tomorrow and see what he says. Would suck if they discontinued. When I say stretched I mean the wall is not flush with rim (not 90 degrees perpendicular to wheel bore). I have 245s hankooks on my 8.5s and they're obviously not flush. Better than my 255s on my 9.5s though. Look at a stock Porsche, corvette, Ferrari and you'll see what I'm talking about.

here's the item code from my invoice:
VR-57X-1885-42-5100-GM

I contacted evasive and they said they can still order the 18x8.5 5x100 +42 FACE2. It will come from Japan and take 3 to 4 months to get. Ask for Joshua. Checked out your build thread and your setup looks nice to me.

Damn sounds like I just didn't talk to the right person. I am still happy with the setup. It's a nice set of wheels no matter what face is on them! Appreciate the compliment on the build!
