Mysterious microscopic hole

So the other day I was inspecting my awesome new tint and clear-bra install when my buddy suggests getting clear-bra installed underneath the door handle. Intrigued, I decide to inspect the area and see if I have any scuff marks yet. What I found was 10 times worse than any light scuffing! Picture below:

The penetration has been there for a while as my detailer had noticed it last Thursday.

Can anyone identify the weapon of choice? I can't think of many tools that could produce such a small, precise and deep hole. You could fit 30 pearlescent paint specs in the hole, I've seen needles make bigger holes. I'm thinking it must have happened at the Subaru plant as that's the only place that high precision tools would have ever gone near my car...

I'm thinking I will have to get a paint pen and some kind of sealant. Also, any treatment or remedy suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys

I see paint that flaked off. I dont see any holes. It is as if there were imperfections stuck to the car before it was painted, then after if was painted those imperfections fell off leaving non painted areas exposed. Maybe get the big one with a paint pen but paint pens suck at best, if you have never used on go slow add a layer at a time and dont try to get it perfect because you cant. Just leave the small ones.

That's a very good explanation. That explains why I didn' notice it until after it was detailed. I wonder if this is common.

My dealer said he could take a look. But if it's the factory's fault then it should be the factory that foots the bill and not the dealer right?
