Innovate MTX-A boost gauge issue (solved)

Hey guys, looks like I am turning to you guys for help with an issue. Okay so I was hooking up the gauge (I have done many before) so I could have it preinstalled for the tubro and when I turn the car on to power it the needle goes right (clockwise) like its doing a sweep but then at the bottom of the guage it goes the other way (counter clockwise) and constantly goes backwards and makes a clicking sound on each rotation and wont stop.

Thoughs???

Edit: update October 6th 2016

Got in touch with innovate and they said its likely a manufacturing error and offered to replace it or told me I can disasemble it and press the neddle down as its not hitting the stoper pin.

Edit 2: Update Oct 6th (mid day)
Well On my lunch I managed to fix the issue. The needle was not install correctly haha. Thankfully I am good at this shit and took it apart and fixed it on my lunch.
