What parts from a 2016 FRS would you want for your 2013?

My brother found a 2016 being parted out in my color... front end is severely damaged but windshield back and interior are in good shape.

Any upgrades I should be trying to get?

Nothing really of note mechanically... Grab some interior trim pieces if you like. IMO, the 2015+ dash trim is nicer, as is the audio unit.

I was thinking about the stereo, but the reading I've done so far leads me to believe it would require the dash trim (it is a different shape), and what really concerns me is that the wiring is apparently completely different.... though a backup camera is tempting.

Knee pads, backup camera with the head unit.

If you have the space, carpets and seats assuming they're in good condition for when the originals are looking worse for the wear 10-20 years in. Maybe the door cards too, mine are already a bit beat up.

Otherwise mechanical parts will be easy to come by for many years imo.

Nothing in particular from the 2016, I do want the nicer looking climate control dials on the MY17s though.

I want the headlights and tailights for my '17 86, unless the 16 frs has stupid leds as well.

Wait what? You want the earlier taillights? You realize there's a line a mile long of people who want your taillights, right?

you could get a free swap and make some money off of it at a local meet.

Yeah. I have to admit, though, that they are better as headlights that the '13. I'm going to turn them off when my new Carista dongle arrives and see how I like them.

I know it's a minority opinion, but the LED's look stupid. I'm not going to be a first adopter, but when I know for sure the swap will work I'll seriously think about it.
