Transporting low clearance car via commercial services

Hey all,

Let me bring you up to speed on my situation. Essentially I'm active duty and im separating. My orders allow me to have a free car move to my destination, unfortunately right now I am conus but I'm going to Hawaii so it has to be put on a boat. The commercial drop off point requests 6 inches of clearance which I think is absurd because I'm pretty sure the car doesn't even come stock with that much clearance.

My question is for anyone who knows, what is the minimum clearance I would need so that my car can go on one of those car transporters with ramps.

All the help is welcome, thank you very much!

I'm on 1" lower springs with 225 series instead of the stock 215 tires(.2-.25" lower) and anything exactly 3.5" or more is scraping a bunch of stuff under there. So 4.25" stock is all that you have room for and that will be almost touching.

Ask them if they ever shipped corvettes with zero issues. If they say yes, zero issues, then then the whole 6" is bullshit. They just don't want to work as hard.
