Date: Saturday, July 14, 2012
Times: 11am - 6pm

Location:
LP Field
One Titans Way
Nashville, TN 37213

Q: What kind of course will this be?
A: The course will be an autocross-type course to be configured within the available space of the lot.

Q: Automatic or Manual?
A: The FR-S on tour will be 6-speed automatic transmission versions. We realize that FR-S enthusiasts may naturally prefer to drive the manual version - however, due to logistics, product availability, and insurance concerns, we can only offer the automatic version in our Ride and Drive format. We are confident the paddle-shift equipped automatics will still allow you to experience the precise performance and engineering of the Scion FR-S. Should you wish to experience a 6-spd manual after your FR-S First Ride experience, we encourage you to contact your local Scion dealership.

*All participants must be at least 21 years of age and legally licensed with a valid U.S. 50-state issued driver's license at the time of the event. Participation requires signature of a waiver and proof of license.

**Event is free and open to the public - however, driving activities are limited and offered to registered participants only.

All events are rain or shine - FR-S First Drive tour staff will do the best to continue operation of events during inclement weather. However, the Tour reserves the right to cancel or adjust schedules as weather or other conditions require us to without prior notice. When possible, changes will be announced on this event registration page. Unfortunately, canceled events cannot be rescheduled.

That's a shame about the AT, though I'm probably an oddball for wanting a manual out here.

Wait only 21? Can't even rent a car until 25.

You're not alone, but it's obvious why they make that decision. Think of the over-eager folks who would trash a manual if given the chance. Everybody can drive the AT, so it keeps the program running smoothly rather than having people wait for a particular car.

Perhaps I can register and show up and tell them I brought my own car...

Or park mine and beat on theirs...

Since this is the closest one I've seen on the schedule to Atlanta, it's tempting to take the road trip up there. If it were more of an event than jsut a test drive, I'd probably do it.

We should all go out for a beer after the event to discuss our driving impressions. I know a good beer garden nearby. :happy0180:

We are having a car show at LP Field on the 28, Music City Car Meets, prizes, dyno's, good fun. I know it's a bit of a drive but you have the perfect car for the trip ;):burnrubber:

Hope to meet you at an event in the future. Lots of good folks in Atlanta and Nashville. We should quietly plan a weekend in the north Georgia mountains come autumn.
