Question about the Intec Tail lights smoke/clear lens
 

Hey guys I want to get the Intec tail lights with the smoked lens but not the carbon fiber (or price tag) they only have smoked lenses if they are the carbon fiber version, and clear lenses for the rest.

Could I get the clear lens and smoke it with nightshade or something and get the same result? Or do I have to pull it apart and paint the inside/reflectors?

Anyone own the tail lights and like to shed some light on this?
