Identify this brake pad

Hi all.

Trying to sell a set of front brake pads I purchased used last year for tracking. Never installed them and they were supposed to be XP8 but they do not appear to be that brake pad.

Curious if anyone here is able to identify them via the pictures.

It's the front pads.

I have a set of Carbotech XP8's in front of me. They are very similar, except mine don't have wear indicators (the metal bits).

Mine say "1539 NRS 03ET"

The NRS logo refers to the backing plate manufacturer.

1539 is the fitment code (shape). Most manufacturers will have this in their part#.

For Carbotech, the color of the backing plate indicates the compound:
  • 1521 (Bobcat) = Red
  • AX6 = Black
  • XP8 = Silver
  • XP10 = Orange
  • XP12 = Blue
  • XP16 = Yellow

The color is a bit hard to discern from your picture, but it's much more silver than orange or blue. Worst case, you've got AX6 and they shouldn't burst into flames on-track unless you're really pushing the car.
