Is there a gap around the headlights when doing this swap? Or is it a perfect fit?
|
So if you go with the 2017 fog lights, can this be done without any cutting or modification? Curious if I could do the swap in my apartment carport with minimal tools lol.
Shout out to OP for the walkthrough, and for recommending a good place for paint in the PNW. Edit: Those stock fog lights aint cheap! The Winjet ones seem like a good alternative though. |
you can reuse your factory fogs in the 2017 bumper swap. just need to attach with one bolt and one ziptie

But it looks like you did the swap and were actually able to fit your pre-facelift fogs? |

I just did the 2017 bumper on my 2014 FRS and its not fitting too well in the corners.
I bought the bumper bracket set, part #s 57707CA040 57707CA050 , but...and maybe I didn't look too closely, they seemed to be the same ones already on my car so I returned them. In the post you have these 2 parts: 57707CA180 57707CA190 Are these the parts that run under the headlight area? When I go to buy them online, all of the websites say there is a new part available: 57707CA181 and 57707CA191.. does anyone know if those will work or do I need to find the old ones? |
anyone know if the olm drl works with the oem plugs for 13 brz drl?

Is it a simple two wire in and out? I am curious if the Drls can be wired up the same even if the plugs don’t match and if they work with the DD Always On system. |
