How to install mudguards?
 

I bought a set of mudguards for half of what the dealer wanted. Then I went to mount them. It says to remove the plastic clips on the edge of the right fender well, but to save them for reuse. What I haven't figured out is how to remove them without damaging them. They seem to want to pop out, but I don't want to wreck them since they are soft plastic. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I didn't get any instructions with my kit... but to remove the front screws you need to just loose them and then pop them out with a flat head screw driver. The one supplied with the car should work.

Also... How are we supposed to screw in the front mud guards? I used the plastic screws supplied (the plastic clip things that expand when you push the screws in) to hold the rear mud guards in and I only have the regular supplied screws left.

Need to remove the wheels to do all the installs. On the front guard. Remove 3 push pins and the one underneath. Pull back wheel well cover and you will see the 3 holes where the push pins were in. Use the 2 clips and slide them in between the holes. Slide 1 on the middle hole and slide one bottom. Now place back the wheel well cover and put the mud guard in place. Line up the holes. Use the old push pin for the top hole. Use the 2 new screws in the middle and bottom holes. Now use the new large push pin in the hole that faces down on the bottom of the guard. Last you will need to drill hole. You will see the pre drilled hole in the guard. use that as a guide to drill into the wheel well cover. After that is done use the small push pin and your finished. You can go to the any scion parts dept. and they can print you out the instructions.
