Why can't we have thread in the OT section on Politics?

Audizine.com (my last forum) had a much bigger member base and politics were fine there?

I think that might be the reason why he's asking why.

Hell, half the time we can't talk about the weather without a brawl breaking out I would hate to see a political debate.

something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go - I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around me - and when I came to, I was home. what do you think happened to me?

Talking about politics is just bad news. Most people can't get their point across without insulting the other party 90% of the time. I like political debates, but they usually end up messy on the internet.
