When did you boost and why that time?
There have been times driving my twin that I thought boost would be awesome to have. But, being a new car I wouldn't want to void the warranty.
I am curious when did you boost and why did you at that certain time? Money? Warranty? Had everything ready to go? |
Boosted my car around the 34k mile mark; bought it with just under 25k miles.
Waited because I needed to save up money. I didn't even care about the warranty. |

Warranty? Meh... whatever :burnrubber::thumbup: |
Car is now at 30k Miles. Boosted for almost 12k. Got smoked by a mod G35 on my way home one night. Told myself never again.

Bought the car June of 2015 with 6K on her. 27K now and have been boosted since end of July/25K. Waited until I could comfortably afford supporting mods and be responsible with personal finances, and had to wait almost 5 months to get the kit. I've had a myriad of problems, all due to myself not hooking up the vacuum lines to WG correctly and my charge pipe was touching my accessory belt and chewed a slit into it. Live and learn, this is my first N/A to FI conversion. Car runs slightly on the rich side now that I've got all the kinks ironed out. Roasting tires and cracking on 370Zs, this car was meant to be fast.

Best thing ever !! This car was ment for boost hahah |
Boosted around 17,500 mi. January 20, 2015. Running carb tune. Picked the supercharger (Jackson Racing) that had the least amount of issues reported by users at the time. Currently at 24,400mi. Save for piping orientation, no issues function wise...just particular on having as much clearance as I can have.

Haha, I'm much the same. Got laughed at by a guy in a Golf GTi, ego bruised so booked in the next day. 45000 klms on the clock. |
Boosted my wife's BRZ after the warranty had expired. We also finished paying off the house earlier this year and we have no other debts. So it's not a financial burden to throw $7000 at the car (boosting + wheels/tires).

30k miles - 2 years after purchase. I would have went FI the first year but i decided to go with coilovers and wheels/tires. 5k with JRSC w/ carb tune - no issues at all so far. :D
