E85 tune what table inceases fueling volume
I am working on modifying a existing 93octane tune for E85 in Romraider. I have already modified timing by swapping info from a OTS E85 tune, but I cant find what table has been changed to actually supply the approximately 30% additional fuel required.
I would have thought injector flow scaling would have been modified, but that table is the same as the gas table. I have not been able to find the info searching this forum. Anyone? ... |

Port injector scaling stock is 228 for e85 about 1use table named injuctor scaling BRZ the other one not used Direct injection Increase values in gdi pressue multiplier a and b tables by about 30 percent Copy values from oft tunes |

You're way nicer than me mate! I don't know why you keep humouring these guys who say they've searched but obviously haven't. And say they have the OFT tunes but haven't done a simple compare between petrol and E85. Or haven't read table descriptions. Or that think they are going to make bucket loads more power than already available dyno tuned roms and pulling new GDI angles out of somewhere. |

Yes way better to start with oft tune as base i think he just confused with the iport injuctor scalar that stays same cause its unused that threw me for a bit till i discovered the second one but yes should show up in compare |
You hit the nail on the head! I had compared the injector flow scaling, but somehow overlooked the injector flow scaling BRZ. I am comparing a E85 Oft tune to a 93 tune I have extensively modified, thinking it will be easier to just modify the E85 specific tables. I am trying to learn my way around romraider, but haven't figured out a way to compare a whole tune to another tune. I am having to check each table individually. That is why I missed the injector scaling BRZ table.
Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to assist a fellow enthusiast with this issue. I also thank you for your OFT tips and tricks write up. That and other references you have produced are a valuable resource to the community. I had used the search function in this forum and didn't find this specific info I required. Im not sure why that wayno guy is talking trash and saying I didn't even look, and then ranting about GDI angles...I guess he just has a giant bug up his ass. If he wasn't on the other side of the world someone might directly inject a boot up his ass! Thanks again, Mark |
