Window problems! HELPPPPP!!
So, my passenger window stopped working last week. So today when messing with it it would go down, but not up! It only responds from the passenger side window control too. I've tried using the drive side switch and no movement in either direction and not audable noise of the motor clicking. When I press the button for the window to go up it doesn't move nor make a noise. But when the window was all the way up I was able to fully roll it all the way down (but sadly not back up). I'm completing stumped on what's broke: the window motor, the passenger switch, driver switch, or does my car just hate me for leaving it sitting for two months? :bonk::bonk::bonk::bonk:

Well now, @SpeedDemon26 that's a bummer.
First thing I'd check is the fuse. It's in the #14 slot (25A) in the fuse box under the hood. While you're there, might as well check the other sides fuse also (#10 position). If the fuse is OK, the next thing I would suggest to do it take the switch out and test it. Then we can go from there ..... Calling @Ultramaroon - he is a window expert ..... :respekt: humfrz |
What? I don't do windows. :/
It's not the motor because it works going down. Are you sure the stupid passenger window disable switch isn't pushed in? It sounds like you might have pushed in the button after the window went down. It kills the passenger window from both doors. I don't know what the hell it's for other than to fuck with people. |

It's there so I can keep mrs humfrz from jumping out, when I'm driving on mountain roads, ...... she may be tempted to take her chances rolling down the side of the mountain ...... :iono: humfrz |
