Call me OLD!!??
I just wanted to have a question answered that I have been wondering about for a long time.
What to the stuffed animals hanging from the back of cars mean. You know, those little dirty animals that live hanging from the tow hooks of cars? |

normally found in drift cars
it's some sort of a jdm trend |
okay seriously, some relate to driver skill level, some to what engine they are running, I.e. SR20 red top, black top, you get the idea.
And yes they are usually found on drift cars |
It depends on the area but in the Puget Sound it's commonly seen on modified (usually poorly) cars and is an invitation that they're down "to race". This is what the anti-street racing enforcement officers of Kent WA have identified.

I've heard it called a "Drift Ornament". I've seen some that were like Chinese food takeout boxes. They're meant to dangle there while the car is drifting. I like to think of them as the JDM equivalent of truck balls.
