2016 BRZ vs 2017 BRZ
(This may be the wrong forum. If so, please move)
Has anyone seen a shoot out article of the 2016 vs the 2017? Please provide a link if you have. I've tried searching, but couldn't come up with one. I am really interested to see their performance numbers stock to stock; lap times, 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, etc... |
I know there is a video of a small race against the different models, but I would like to see something a little more concrete too.
|
On this topic, I'd love to see an in depth comparison between the two, SaabKyle-style, to see the difference between them, aesthetically and performance.
|
I want to see dori dori, nob and max orido doing a review, hope doesnt take much time for a bestmotoring episode between models
|
Silly question but do you think WeatherTech matts will fit on a 2017? I dont think anything has changed in the inside right?
|
i'm sure this will happen once the 2017's get more time to actually be out there.
|
I still can't find a video of the new 2017 taillights lit up at night. I wanna see the design.
Also, I hope there's no real big difference besides cosmetic mods and the dash board. (For Automatics) |

Yes, I am certain the WeatherTechs will fit all model years. |
Let's be realistic here. The changes are so small that 99% of the people driving it will never know the difference. Unless you are a huge fan of gadgets there really is no massive improvement in anything.
That being said there will be dozens of "reviews" on here where the butt dyno, inner ear g force meter, and other such finely calibrated instrument using crowd will tell us the new one is 100 times better at everything. |

I believe there are many reviews already and almost everyone says that performance wise the difference is very small or even non-noticeable. Don't forget that there are some very small engine/exhaust/transmission improvements, but there is also a significant weight increase which negates the results and keeps the power-to-weight ratio to similar levels.
