Now a new owner of a 2014 :)

That's right. Related to my last post i made. I decided to go for it and get 2014 BRZ. I love it so far. 26k miles on it. Holy god the handling is amazing. Sport mode makes me a little nervous though, but ill have to practice that. Here is a picture of it. Thanks all for the advice!!

Good choice...the 1st gen is still the most beautiful to me. Such a classic design with no nonsense like with the 2017 86 model.

Congrats and Welcome!...

Gorgeous color

Congrats! I'm a newbe too. Picked up a 2013 BRZ a few months ago that had only 9500 miles on it. Not even broke in! Warning, modding this car can be addictive! I already added the OEM arm rest, OEM sub-woofer, silver ac and door trim, always on DRL module and have some Valenti tail lights on order!

You know and the stock wheels are starting to grow on me, especially after seeing some really ugly modified twins on the road for the past few years.

Yeah, it very unfortunate. Also a lot of them are abused and not taken care of because it's considered a "cheap" car.

It's why I'm pretty much not touching the exterior of mine apart from the Toyota badge conversion. Tada-San and his team did any amazing job designing this car exterior wise.

It looks perfect. I think the only thing this car was missing was a spoiler on the FRS and mono spec 86's which I solved with the TRD wing which complements the body lines well. If I bought the BRZ or if the FRS had come with the 86 Spoiler, I would of kept that spoiler since I like those also.

Anyways, such a stylish and beautiful car. Pictures like this below will be hard to find real life examples of in 10+ years.

Totally agree about the overall design. They really knocked it out of the park (I don't like the facelifts as much as the original either).

Not wild about the "spoiler" on the limited cars though. It's the only part of the visual design I don't really like, actually. The TRD one is much better, but the best one (IMO) is the 5 Axis one-- that's a great-looking ducktail:
