If you want that red intake manifold, you can buy it and install it on your AT car. iirc you can swap em out.
|
Has someone figured out what the small unfinished 'tabs' are for on the manifold?
Maybe an engine cover that's coming out next year? https://a.gaw.to/photos/2/5/7/257626...Subaru_BRZ.jpg ..I've already had one person asked me whats suppose to be there |

I'm gonna swap out my intake manifold for a red one once I can get my hands on one :D

Aren't those the tabs where the plastic cover attaches too? http://drivencarreviews.com/wp-conte...n_fr-s_010.jpg |
This might be a worth while upgrade, as I read somewhere that the red intake manifold is slightly bigger than the old plastic one.

Dyno proof?

You couldn't prove that the red intake is responsible for anything as there have been too many other changes to the motor. That 5-15 whp could be coming from many different things. Lets just enjoy the fact that metal is better than plastic :) |

Judging from your previous posts, I'll be waiting for a snarky response. |
