Forced Induction Fuel Economy?!
Hey folks!
I want to know what your fuel economy is with your forced induction set up. Whether it's turbo or SC, let me know what you're getting! Saw this in another area and figured it would be interesting to know what people are getting with added power! I'm averaging around 26-27.5 mpg with my Cosworth SC. If I gun it a lot I'm around 22-23. What about you? **Disclaimer: yes I realize adding FI will alter mpg, sometimes negatively** |
I have a JRSC (C30) with a catless header, I'm getting about 24.6mpg mixed.

In the harrop thread one guy was reporting slightly(1mpg) increased hwy economy, that could be a measurement error but even if it were equal to stock that would be impressive

17.5mpg average on e85

11.9 L/100 km, just better than 20 mpg.
My tune was a bit of a mess and I was driving with a badly fouled MAF until recentl, had everything resolved. Car is way faster and more responsive now. Can't stop hammering it! I'd be happy with 23 mpg and thats where it probably will end up averaging after a few tanks. |
17-18 mpg street only, no highway. E-Force SC on 91 CARB tune.
