Corvette Sawblades, Someone had to!

:party0030: I know that people hate on sawblades because every stanced VW ever runs them, but I thought I'd give them a try on my FR-S. Turns out they're one of the more unique wheel setups for these cars I've seen! I've been running these Sawblades off and on for about 6 months now. Using 5x100-5x120.65 spacers. Lowered on ST coilovers. tires are 235/45/17, decent stretch but I've put them through hell and never had an issue. Tucks in the fenders perfectly! These are all 17x9.5, there are also 17x8.5's out there which came on the front of C4's but don't look as good. Enjoy!

I gotta say, that looks pretty good.

Not a fan of gold on black, but otherwise that looks pretty damn good.

Oh for sure, I agree completely.

Your pics are great! I especially like the burning rubber shot!

I used to have a set of sawblades on my Passat wagon when I lived in Germany.
Definitely a different look on these cars, but not bad.

I know this thread is kind of old now, but I recently tried out "Sawblades" on my BRZ because I needed a wide wheel to fill out the widebody kit, and I had these laying around from an old corvette I had about 10 years ago. At first it was just temporary, but now im really starting to dig the look. It is definitely very unique, and is not for everyone, but I like it. Mine are a little older than the OP's, they are from a 87' Z51 so they are a little different.

Specs are 16x9.5 ET. +38
255/50 R16
