Equivalent WRX message Board?
Just pulled the trigger on a 2017 WRX base... and traded in my DMG BRZ ... FT86 club has been super helpful, is NASOIC the equivalent destination for WRX owners ?
FYI > for those that need to know... needed back seat, also something that can handle a good Texas downpour on the road without giving me flashes of loosing my life :) Since only 15k miles, I got a good trade... and a great deal on the WRX. |
Yes NASOIC is considered the go to place for all things Subaru. Just be aware that if you think this forum can be harsh you ain't seen nothing yet.
|
IWSTI is closer to being 'like this forum', but NASIOC is the big one.
Tcoat is right, NASIOC is Harshville, USA. |
I haven't regularly visited NASIOC since trading in my WRX two years ago, but last I checked it looks like Uncle Scotty was banned. I didn't see much point in keeping my account active after that.

IWSTI is miles better than NASIOC. NASIOC sucks.
But you have a WRX, not an STI... so your kind isn't welcome there :paddle: lol |
+1 for NASIOC being one of the worst communities out there. Tons of great tech info though. I stopped posting there and just lurked when I had mine.
There is i-club too but it's pretty dead and very click imo. And basically just the CA bay area forum is active |

there is at least 6 WRX/STi message boards, maybe more. None of them compare to NASOIC back in the beginning of course, but nasoic today is why there is 6.

I also wonder why everyone in Texas has to use it as an adjective or adverb in front of everything. I need awd to handle Texas rain, so i can make it to my favorite Texas burger joint so I can fulfill my Texas appetite. Also, I like to Texas my way down the road with Texas-sized shopping bags in the back seats. Go Texan longhorns.... Not necessarily directed at OP, I give my wife's family the same shit lol |

Lolol omg please... you win the internet today

The Texas section of Nasioc died out when I left and took 3 other autocrossing WRX owners with me to the BRZ side. If you had issues with rain in the 86, you must have been running on bald tires. If you would have come out to some events with us we could have made you more than comfortable sliding around (or how to keep from sliding).
We can still help you learn to cope with the under-steering boost buggy. It's never too late. http://dfwautocross.com/ |
