Inland Empire BBQ/Fun Run?

Just thought I'd post something to gauge the interest on doing a BBQ and fun run. As has been discussed before, there seems to be a bunch of FRS/BRZ's in the inland empire area, and yet no groups in the San Bernardino/ Rancho area.

I was thinking, perhaps, having a BBQ for all the FRS/BRZ guys and girls (we're not discriminating here), and then a fun run up Baldy. From my place, it's just a cruise up Euclid to the base of the mountain.

Would anyone be interested in doing something like this in a couple of weeks?

I live in Whittier so quite far from San Bernardino but I actually grew up there. I went to Cajon High. Anyways, I would maybe head out there.

Would love to have ya. BTW, love the color on your BRZ- seems quite underappreciated

Thank you so much! I think its so polarizing that even when I bought it, I needed it to grow on me. I love it now but it definitely is loud and causes people to hate or absolutely adore it.

Yes! I'm down for a little BBQ.
Oooh your house must be nice if you're on Euclid N of the 210 hahah.
There was a Riverside thread a while ago it kind of died out though.
I'm in loma Linda; not too far from upland if we do this so I can probably make it.

Ha! I wish I was above the 210 on Euclid. I'm down by the 10, but it serves its purpose

I am definitely down for an event like this. I literally went up Glendora Ridge (GMR) from Baldy yesterday, would be great to do this with other locals :)

Hahaha same here I always go to Badly just for a quick drive I am about 1 mile from the entrance. We can stop by the Badly restaurant instead of bbq, that seem a lot of work and stuff we have to haul around on our brisk drive.

Baldy Lodge would be fine. My suggestion was to have a BBQ at my place and then do the drive- or the opposite combination, if that is better for people

Yup and they have beer. Maybe drive first. The only problem is there are a lot of cyclist there

I'm good with whatever. I haven't seen many cyclists the last few times I've gone up Baldy. Though I usually go very early morning or late at night
