Anyone have a link to the FT86 footage from the Gran Turismo 5 preview clip? They pulled it from youtube I think. :confused:

For those that dunno what I'm talking about, there was a video leaked of the FT86 from the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 video game. Here's a shot

Woa I havent seen this before. Thats awesome! So Toyota just put together (or let GT5 makers put together) this preview feature of the car?? Man big things in store for the FT86

And the clip leaked somehow and then got pulled off youtube? hah

If toyota is putting the concept car into GT5 I have to assume that they are confident that they can put in a production version of the car that is almost identical to this concept car...

Except for the interior, that car is definitely close to production ready. I'm expecting the cf pieces to be replaced with either color matched or black plastic, but the rest isn't all that radical that it couldn't be very, very close to the final body design.

Recall that the XYR-concept was nearly identical to the production 7th gen Celica :D

The game is dated for March 2010 for Japan only (North American probably a few months after). You can go out and purchase Gran Turismo 5: Prologue right now (its a demo but still has lots of content to keep you busy for months).

Im not sure but I think the camaro was in Gran Turismo before the production car was announced, so thats a good precedent. Regardless I can't wait to buy GT5, it should be an experience...
