I ran -2.4 rear with 0 toe at nationals. Seemed to work well enough. Maybe play with your shock settings or tire pressures some more.

Karlton

What do you have for bars and spring rates? I know you're on JRZs lol.

This is Alex, btw.

If you are the 3rd place Karlton, then ya I would say it worked all right :) (nice driving!)

Thanks for the feedback. We tried a few things during TnT on Monday (softened compression in the rear and lower pressures). Still had problems with rear grip.

It wasn't until we lowered the car for day two and took out even more rear pressure that it worked ok. After reading what you all are running for rear camber, I am now even more confused on what the problem could have been...90 run RE71R's? Seems unlikely though...last year my e36 had 125 runs on the its stones, and it was fine at Nats.

Hahaha thanks and yes, one in the same. Probably the only Karlton in autocross lol. Did you try bumping up rear rebound?

Hi Alex! I basically just followed the standard recipe. ~400lb front/rear, 22mm front bar, 16mm rear.

We did not try increasing rear rebound, it was a thought though. We figured we would get even more oversteer if we stiffened rear rebound.

My car is pretty standard as well, 450# springs f/r, 20mm front bar, stock rear.

Yea Mike, great driving! Definitely deserves a big congrats.

Hmm new Camaro, I had thought about that too but I really need to stick with 1 car for more than a year hah. Maybe a 2017 BRZ though :)

I know I should keep it, and I still might. The new Camaro is quite a killer and since the 1LE isn't allowed in FS it has me thinking. Just not sure if I want a payment that high. Time will tell.

I'd be one closer to thinking I'm fast if you change classes, but... can't say that bothers me. No car payment is just awesome though. There's definite merit to managing that! The money saves up surprisingly fast when it doesn't just disappear.

I guess I should state specifically - I'd be disappointed. I'd get over it too, it's not really a big deal, but I particularly enjoy events where the top few drivers are not even at my fingertips, yet are making each-other work hard for their wins. I was voting for 'stick around, save some cash'

I already did my 'leading the slow train' and have the jacket to prove it. I think I'd be happier with a 2nd this year than I was winning last year (but I still hope to win... gotta get things sorted and win by more than is likely, but... it's possible) - obviously this isn't Milwaukee... :)
