Mix match tomei

should there be any problems or exhaust leaks mixing the tomei over pipe or header with something like the invidia resonated front pipe? Differences are the tomei is 2.3 because of the titanium and the invidia is 2.5 because of the stainless steel.

It's not the pipe diameter, but the flange face that needs to match. I believe those are both using standard 2.5" flanges, but even if it is 2.25" to 2.5" it should work as well. 2.5" to 3" can even work, with the right gasket, but 2.25" to 3", no way.

Jesus Christ hump u back on the booze again!??? I just know that since the titanium is so thin the tomei is 2.3 ID and will fit with the stock exhaust. The Perrin OD is 2.5 but it's thick stainless steel. So Ima guess they're both 2.3 internal because they all fit with the stock exhaust and if I have a leak Ima Georgia boy rage on speed factory.

They both are advertise to fit the stock set up so we are gonna go with yes on the 2.5 flanges. Just didn't know if anyone had first hand experience

FYI Tomei headers and the over-pipe aren't titanium; it's stainless steel. Only their front-pipe and cat-backs are titanium. You should be fine.

NOW, you tell me they have flanges ....... what they won't come up with next ..... :confused0068:

Back-in-the-day ....... the only flange was from the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold ........ now, they make cars so low, I can't get under there to see anything .....so I didn't know :bonk:
