Speaker Upgrade on top of OEM Audio Plus

I have the OEM Audio Plus for BRZ installed currently, which includes:

-1" Soft Dome tweeter
-8" 100W Subwoofer
-120W Subwoofer Amplifier
-Multi-Channel 32-Bit DSP Power Amplifier (360 Watts RMS Continuous / @ 2-ohms)

I feel like I can get a lot of improvement by replacing the stock speakers, including the tweeter that was replaced by OEM Audio+. However, I have almost no experience in car audio, and am wondering if anybody could give me suggestions on upgrading the tweeter, door, and rear speakers of the car. My budget for this would be around $1000-1500.

Thank you in any advance for any help.

I think the 2 dash speakers by the tweeters can be swap out for a more High end unit.

I know a friend did that with his all stock unit & the mid range was really really good.

So are you not selling your OEM audio kit?

Because this is the for-sale section....

You'll be hard pressed to find mids and tweets that run at 2 ohms. Most of them are 4 ohm, which means you'll only get about half of the power that the amp produces.

The first and most important question that needs to be answered is......

What do you find lacking about the system currently, and what do you expect speakers to do to improve it?

Stock tweeters and mids are 4omh and they are powered straight from head-unit. Only door speakers are 2omh and run from separate amplifier.

It'll still be hard to find good 2 ohm mids. None of the better mids out there are 2 ohms.
