Whoops... I took my mom autocrossing.
 

My mom visited this weekend, and she attended Sunday's autocross and rode along with me... something which I knew would be worth filming. She rode along on the first run, and then I insisted the second run would be "better" because the tires would be warm (no sliding) and I would be more familiar with the course (smoother.)
...but I guess it was just as scary for her. Either way... I'm still laughing, and she's still recovering.

She now respects the BRZ, and knows what it can do!

my mom would grab the door handle so hard and freak out if I did anything remotely "sporty" like shifting after 4k RPM lol. I one time ran a yellow left turn pretty fast with her in the car and she slapped me afterwards lol

Yes it was. She reminds me of an ex gf from long ago. Very lovely lady. Also I am old. My guess I'm about her age.

Bad jokes aside, last time I took my mom in the car she was just complained how loud & how uncomfortable the car is ... the whole time. :rolleyes:

What I really want is get my dad to drive the car but he just won't for the time of his life. :(
Any old timer can help me out? How do I get my dad to drive it?

I figure my dad would love it cuz my love for cars comes from all the Porsche magazines that my dad had when I was like 7.... Ya.... That & Knight Riders. :lol:

yup, asian. my dad flat out refuses to get in my car, even though his driving is probably the worst I have ever seen lol

Lol Hey don't say that, I really respect my dad on how he avoid accidents daily in Asia with me in the car as a kid. (He also tend to drive faster then all the cars around...lol)

Maybe your dad is the same if you put him on roads in Asia. :lol:
