Has anyone on here dealt with WheelDude.com before?

After placing an order for Rota Grid-Vs (17x9 5x100/et42 Speed Bronze) last Wednesday , I have still not been given tracking info for my order. When calling AND texting to ask where they are, I rarely get a response. When I do, I've been told they'll "forward me the information as soon as they get a hold of it". I've now called/texted/emailed to cancel after waiting almost a week, and again have not received a response as of right now.

Do they do this to everyone?

I ordered a set of 17x7.5 wheels from them. Same as you, never got any shipment information. After a week, I sent an email and was told they had been discontinued. Not the best communication from them. It would have been helpful if they told me earlier so I could have canceled the 215 tires I ordered for those narrow-ish wheels.

I have had good response submitting enquiry through the website, and the order and shipment went very smooth. This happened end of last month.

Just got my shipment info, after 4 or 5 hours of requesting to cancel. Found out it was shipped Friday and never told until today.. Also, I had placed the order Wednesday. I have friends order from FT86SpeedFActory and get their wheels within 5 days... If I had the choice, I wouldn't shop at WheelDude again. Save money and get RPF1s lol

Weird...I literally just received my wheels from them a couple days ago. I ordered online, confirmed my credit card info and had a tracking number a few days later. Then about 6 days after that had a set of Rotas on my doorstep. Whole thing was seamless. Idk

My order was super clean and easy, but it was years ago. hopefully you get sorted

Just questioning those who did order from Wheeldude. Did everything turn out okay in the end? It's two years later and I'm about to swipe some Rota's off of him.

I wouldn't if you had a choice. If you are patient and know they are going to do everything just really slow, it is fine, but there are more than a few times they seemed to drop off the map for 5 or 6 months at a time.

That and they don't really carry good quality wheels. I steered away from Rota and linea corse after some research. Rotas especially are too light (read thin) for cast wheels. They work fine on the track for a season, but one pothole on the street and you run a large risk shattering them.

but that is what you get with the majority of inexpensive lighter wheels.
