HID help thanks
I have a stock headlight on my frs. im planning to install an hid. the one I want to is an h7 bulb. is it gonna work on my h11 bulb size?
|
No. If you plan on keeping your headlights stock then only H11 will fit. If you want H7 then you'll need Winjets.

anyway H7 looks like this compared to your H11 so it won't hold in the housing https://carlightbulb.files.wordpress...pg?w=208&h=300https://carlightbulb.files.wordpress...pg?w=216&h=300 |

H7 is on one of my '07 Honda bikes, as well as the '00 Celica GT-S. It's been around a long time. Major PITA on the Celica, with a retention wire instead of a twist mount.
Both are retrofitted with HID. |
if you are planning on staying stock projecors, buy a properly designed LED bulb or stay halogen. Tons of guys run HID in factory stuff, but ts not really designed for it (glare).
@Manic has shots somewhere of his factory lights+2stroke led bulbs, and he's super happy with them. http://www.modbargains.com/Morimoto-...roke-Bulbs.htm Found it! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...hlight=2stroke his post is here w/photo: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...21&postcount=7 |
