Aftermarket 2DIN Radio Install

Has anybody done a radio install and willing to tell about it?

Has anybody done a nice write up (with pics) on how to install an aftermarket 2DIN radio or aftermarket speakers? I've done this sort of thing myself before, but I usually tweak the interior pretty bad because if you are guessing, you usually end up breaking some snap fits etc? Has anybody taken the plunge and willing to tell about the battle for the betterment of FR-S / BRZ mankind?

The stock radio connectivity (BT Audio / iPod / HD, etc) is totally acceptable, but the sound quality and the look have a long ways to go in my opinion.

And on a related note, is the official Toyota / Subaru service guide available for sale? These guides usually have pictures of everything. It might help clue me in as to how to remove interior stuffs without breaking it all to heck.

Thanks! :thanks:

I haven't looked through much of the manual linked above yet, but I think it may offer some helpful diagrams for you...
