Repaint

Hi guys! New in NorCal. Just wanted to ask how much will it cost me to have my FRS repainted? Recently bought a preowned FRS and since Previous owner is a lad there are lots of scratches and dings. Planning to have it fixed and repainted. What shops do you recommend? How much will this cost me and how long does it usually take to finish. Help would be appreciated.

Hella.

Might as well wrap it in a more unique and custom color.

But really, it depends on the quality and even the color for some shops. Were you looking for a standard repaint? Any different or special color?

I recommend getting the car ceramic waxed. They will generally do a pain restore on the car and the process eliminates most scratch marks and some dings. Plus it also protects the car against further damage. I'm getting it done on my car. Can cost between 900-3000$ depending on the package and where you go to do it.

For the dings... Dent pros, Dent king, etc. Is cheaper than any body shop.
Plan on at least $50-$75 per dent/ding to repair. Sound like a lot at first, but the results are ALWAYS going to be better than a sand, fill, and repair and a LOT less expensive.

As far as paint, the scratches, are they down to the metal? If it's just to the primer, an experienced detailer can fill in the scratches with retouch paint and do a light sand, polish, wax.

My 2-cents. :)
