[SOLD] 2013 BRZ Limited 6MT / 28k miles / $17.9k / western Massachusetts

BRZ Limited 6MT for sale with 28k miles. This is the fully loaded model with navigation, heated seats (leather/alcantara), fog lights, smart keyless entry, etc. It also has:
  • A second set of rims and tires for snow (17x7 Kosei K4R, 215/45R-17 X-Ice Xi2, with tire pressure monitors). Washed often when driven in winter (I was always mindful to minimize its exposure to salt).
  • A hidden tow hitch with a 1upUSA bike rack and fat-bike extensions installed (the best bike rack I've ever used).
  • Subaru rubber cargo liner.
  • Grimmspeed master cylinder brace (the car’s only "mod"... it's a little brace that bolts in front of the master brake cylinder).
Prices:
  • $17,900 for just the BRZ + cargo liner
  • $600 for the extra set of wheels/tires/TPMSes (will only sell separately after the BRZ sells)
  • $200 for the bike rack (will only sell separately after the BRZ sells)

Only one owner, no accidents, never been smoked in, always well cared for. In excellent condition with minor imperfections:
  • Wear in driver floor mat where my heel rests on it
  • A minor door ding/black mark on driver side handle, below the lock (see photo).
  • Really slight scuffs on the front corner, maybe from an animal brushing up against it? I'm not sure what it's from honestly (and it’s so faint, I doubt you’d notice unless I pointed it out - I had to wipe off the morning dew and get really close and change angles just to get it to show up in the photo).
  • I recently discovered that one of the bolts on the bike rack has seized. Doesn't affect folding the rack, or using it to carry one bike, but this needs to be fixed in order to add a second tray.
  • A small ding on the passenger side just in front of and above the rear wheel (just noticed this one actually... grrrr). I tried to take a photo, but it doesn't show up.
  • A few other tiny scuff marks/paint chips from 4 years of driving (from rocks kicking up, etc.), but nothing noticeable unless you get up really close.
Selling because as much as I love this car, I'm ready to go back to a Miata.

Would rather see her go to another enthusiast, and I'm selling basically for the same price as what I'd get as a trade-in minus the tax benefit. Leaving this thread here until she sells, or I find the right Miata for the right price and trade her in.

PM if you're interested. Thanks for reading.

Pics of the snow tires/wheels?

I'm headed to western mass on Wednesday for my birthday and a bunch of parts installs and tuning.

Picking them up would save me some trouble come winter.

Happy Birthday!

The wheels are in my garage, but I'll pull them out and snap some photos in the next couple days.

However, I'm not selling them separately until the car sells or I trade it in (in case I end up keeping the BRZ for one more winter). I'm going to drive another Miata today or tomorrow... I'll post here again if the BRZ is gone.

Sorry about that (I updated my post to be clearer).

No worries,

Definitely keep me posted if you change your mind because I will buy 100% assuming they're not road rashed into oblivion haha

Oh man I was wondering who owned this one. I saw it at Stop and Shop in NOHO. I can vouch for it. It's clean! Sad to see you sell it man. Good luck!

Thanks!

Yeah, I love this car, and I'm second guessing selling it... it's sharp, responsive, cheap, efficient, fun, utilitarian (for such a tiny car), and RWD. It's my favorite 4 seater, and my favorite fixed-roof vehicle. There really is nothing else like it, and after 4 years I still enjoy it everytime I get behind the wheel.

But the open-top playfulness of the MX-5 beckons me :D

I've been a little negligent updating this thread as I'm very busy this time of year (gearing up for the start of the Fall semester at work, while the family is gearing up to go back to school). At some point I will post more photos.

Also, reduced the price slightly because I got her assessed and one dealership offered KBB value but wouldn't discount the MX5, while another offered below KBB and discounted the MX5.

I'm going to be very sad to see it go

Sale pending

Oh man, another old timer selling to go to a smaller car haha. ND Miata? A lightly supercharged one would be great.

Deslock 10-05-2016 09:54 PM

It's sold.

Thanks everyone, and good luck!
