Tiny chips on inside of window
On the inside my driver and passenger door windows im getting little pitted chips. I have about 12 on inside of drivers side. I dont have an industrial fan tornado inside my car throwing pebbles around. So wtf. Anybody else experience this? The window makes no noise as it rolls up or anything weird. Just random little chips always pop up

Have your co-worker take off her diamond rings before you have that wild sex in the car in the park, after work..... :iono: If all else fails, I reckon you will have to have the door taken apart to see what's marking the glass. humfrz |
Do you open the door with your keys in hand holding the window?

I see you have a 2013. Perhaps this is relevant?
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21868 S-SB-0001-14 : Window Freezing, Losing Initialization There is an issue with scratched glass in that TSB. Generally on the outside though. |
Pics would help a pile in this case!

Are you married? Only thing I can think of is diamond ring hitting the glass.

Without pics or more info than "little pitted chips" all these ideas are just pissing in the wind. I tried hitting my glass with a diamond ring (yes a real diamond) and it didn't do shit. My theory is that there are microscopic spacecraft trapped in the car and they are firing photon torpedoes at the invincible barrier in a futile attempt to escape. |
if you use hairspray or some sort of chemical, it eats at the window/stains it so that it looks like small little chips.

The fact remains that everybody's throwing out these bizarre theories and we have no clue what these chips even look like or where they are on the window. |
