The fact that everywhere was sold out of RE71R's and back ordered for months should be enough to sell these immediately. Not to mention mounted on one of the lightest wheels available.

Bump for great seller, amazing setup for an extremely reasonable price!

The price could be the hold up. I paid that much taxes in for my RPF1's (same size/offset) and tires (225/45/17 Dunlop ZII's) brand new, and you could get the RE71R for way less than the Dunlops with group buy pricing in the spring. A couple places had that size for under $800 taxes in.

I just picked up a set of RE71R in 215/45-17 from Simply Tire last weekend for $745 all said and done. Where were you getting your prices for RE71's? I'll hit up there when these ones are done.

The oddball size will hold it up as well as the price...

Guess I'm too used to Kijiji and getting the stupid "I'll give you $400 bro" never expected $2,000 just looking for a starting point hence the obo. I'm open to offers.

Not here to ruin your post, but I bought black Enkei RPF1 in 17x9 +35et paired with slicks for a little over 1k couple weeks ago...

I wonder how much I can make if 17x8 goes for 2k:confused0068:

There's not a huge market for slicks out there. Most people want tires that are streetable. Most of the time you get those sets for the cost of the rims alone.
