Invidia Q300 "3 inch"

Has anyone seen or heard the 3inch version of the Invidia Q300?

It lists piping size as 72mm rather than 60mm for the standard model. Its also only $100 more

Presumably it will be a a bit louder than a 60mm Q300......

I'd be curious if it keeps the quiet tone everyone knows it for. I love my Q300, but that 72mm version would be cool if it wasn't too loud.

Exactly - im thinking of changing to something close to stock. Was looking at the normal 2.5" Q300 but a 3 inch version would be nice.

I'm not confident it actually exists though as the SKU is "COPY OF CB-HS12SSTG3T" and the normal 2.5" version is "CB-HS12SSTG3T"

Given that eg. perrin's 3" as loud as unresonated 2.5" very probably it will be louder then 2.5" .. but still might be more reasonable if compared to other 3" in market .. hopefully someone will post a review soon ..

You're going to lose performance with a 3" exhaust. It's way too big for this little NA engine. Even turbo'ed it's too much

While "conventional" wisdom would say you're correct.... the dyno sheets and overall comparisons on this board say the jury is out on this.

Just one example, but that's from a pretty trusted company....

^^ what he said. I want to quieten things down a tad.

3" is proven to make more power.

Gotcha, I thought he was still NA

Does this exhaust exist anymore?

Edit:

It appears it is exclusive to Australia? Anyone have a clue why? I sent an email to Invidia. Haven't heard back yet. lol.
