Subaru BRZ Limited Top Speed Run Video

Hey guys,

Check out this video:

http://www.redline360.com/garage/201...op-speed-video

It's a top speed run of a 2013 BRZ Limited. Video was taken by Jason Thorgalsen and he says:

"At the end of May I got a call from the Subaru dealership telling me my 2013 BRZ Limited had arrived and was ready for me to take delivery. After a grueling 1,000 mile break-in period I was looking forward to see what the car was capable of. I shipped the car to the autobahn to do some high speed runs in the car and attempt the top speed. The car is limited by its aerodynamics unfortunately so I had to get a good stretch which favored the car which allowed me to get up to 147 MPH. This isn't very high speed compared to other exotic cars but for a 200HP Subaru I was very impressed seeing what it's capable of on the top speed spectrum! For those of you who don't know this is a rear wheel drive Subaru and the car is fantastic to drive along with drifting ;)"

Thought you'd enjoy

Radar detectors are illegal in a moving vehicle in Germany. What section of the Autobahn was that?:slap:

Radar detectors are illegal in lots of places; doesn't stop people from installing/using them :slap:

147mph - WIN
7 minutes of staring at the gauge cluster... FAIL

It basically starts crawling at 120. I don't like that. My 370 had no issue getting to 155 within a mile or 2. Boost will solve that though.

Yea took a while to get up there

not bad for stock although after 4th gear the rate of acceleration really slows down

that poor fuel pump.

Nor drinking and driving for that matter...

147mph with the gas light on! I'm sure it wasn't sipping gas at 30mpg at those speeds either...

This car definitely needs boost if you plan to take it to triple digits on a daily basis.
