It seems some moisture was trapped under the bumper, it bubbled up and popped when my polisher touched it.

I've found 2 paint defects on my FR-S :mad0260:

I am trying to get to it twice a week but we are in afternoon thunderstorm season in Calgary so every night around 6 it gets hit with a half inch of rain. Its disappointing but I have put a good coat of wax on it so it just beads up and I hit it with the drying towel. Now if only I could mount a system that shoots the birds that poop on it I might get a few more days out of a wash.

Never. That's what sprinklers are for.

Wow, after reading through this thread I've come to the conclusion that I'm either seriously OCD about my car or just dumb, as I've been washing my car just about every other day! Meguire's Ultimate Wash & Wax with a microfiber wash glove, with a chamois for drying the large areas and a waffle-weave microfiber cloth for the rest. I've waxed the car three times in the month I've had it as well.

Just washed it today! Did a full wash, polish and wax. I usually wash my car once every 2-3 weeks. Its strangly therapeutic to do it myself.

The one thing I miss about living in AZ is your car stays clean. Just dust it off every day and your good to go.

I try to wash my car at least once a week.

Last week MD issued a warning to conserve water due to power outages. I had a serious inner struggle to be a good citizen or to be that guy washing his car during a water shortage.

I ended up not washing it. :slap:

pick up some optimum no rinse and never go through that dilemma again

I'm pretty set in my ways (2 bucket wash and dry) and Im skeptical about no rinse formulas... but the reviews are damn good! ..maybe i'll check it out :happy0180:

Full wash once every two weeks, or if bird-tagged or bug-smeared. California Duster every day, but quick detail as needed. I've done a full detail once early to prep the car against the elements...well...the bird and bug thing anyway . It's summer, the only weather element here right now is heat! :iono:

White out. Wash it once a week. Unless I take it to the tracks then maybe twice a week.
