The Dreaded Wait.
 
With the news that production for Australian GTS 86's seems to have been pushed back to October for maybe November delivery, I am considering giving up on the 86 idea ...... Anyone else in the same boat ??

I am hating the wait right now, but im in for the long haul now.
Im an early adopter and not having it now is killing me!

You are buying a luxury item. You do not need this car to live. You did not have this car a year ago so what's another few months? Get over it.

Why? Instead of looking forward to getting a car the OP is complaining that s/he can't have it soon. The OP is in the fortunate position of being able to spend +30k for a toy.There are many people who can not afford to do this. A little perspective please.

A toy? So it has no functional use now? And $30k is considered a luxury vehicle now in Australia?

No, what I meant was it is not a requirement to adequate living. I am suggesting both you and the OP have enough food to eat, have somewhere to bed at night, clean water to drink. Therefore a new car is a luxury not a necessity.

I am none of your suggestions but I have been fortunate enough to travel and see that many people, including many Australians, do not have the means to buy a new car. I dont 'need' my 86 (I already have 6 other cars), but it doesnt stop me whining about the fact I have had to wait 2 weeks more than I could have.

I like new toys, the guy was just saying it's disheartening! And I can relate to that!
