How to wash FRS seats?

My dumbass ignorant friend was eating glazed donuts and wiped his fingers on MY SEATS after, he claims it was hair gel either way i don't know how to get it out didn't notice till morning and can't get it off, I was going to try scrubbing it with a brush and water but figured that would ruin the material, suggestions?

Your friend is a turd lol.

Best way is probably to steam them (I just started a detailing business featuring it). Nothing beats that for upholstery.

Get them reupholstered in leather and make your friend pay for it.

Upholstery foam cleaner.

Find a new friend. Then steam clean the seats.

Kill your friend, then drain his blood and separate the plasma from his blood and use your dead friend's blood plasma and Resolve Carpet Cleaner.

Spray the area with the spray, then use a wet WHITE CLOTH (no dye in the cloth) to scrub the area. Then use another towel to soak up the stain and dry it up. Then lower the windows in the car and let the sun dry it up the rest of the way. Make sure you put the windows up before dew settles.

My wife says this is how it's done. Therefore, this IS how it's done. She's good like that.

No one eats in my car, among other understood passenger rules - sucks that your 'friend' was rather ignorant of your property.

Anyway - I'd say the best bet is to get a foaming interior cleaner as others have mentioned. Chemical Guys has a few great products, so I'd recommend checking out their website.

Their products can be a bit spend, but that shouldn't be a factor as your friend should be paying for it!

I would suggest you use a dry vacuum to suck up the majority of the residue. What doesn't come up, use a damp (with warm water) microfiber towel in a lifting motion to clean off the rest. Dry vacuum again.

Keep a package of wet wipes in the glove box for your friend.....:D

I use stay fresh car cares fabric cleaner. Spray some directly onto the seat and use a microfiber towel to scrub and clean up any stains. Could used a soft bristled brush to scrub if its stubborn

Seems to work really well, been using their products for about a year now and have been happy with most of them.

Here is how I would tackle the stain. I would first vacuum the entire seat with a soft brush attachment. Then get two all purpose short nap microfiber towels, and some upholstery cleaner I have used Sonax upholstery cleaner with good results. I would wet one towel with very hot water and wring it out until its JUST damp. Lightly mist a section of the towel with a few light spritz's of the cleaner and very gently and slowly dab the cleaner on the seat then gentle wipe turning to a clean side and applying a few additional light spritz's of the cleaner as needed until its clean then take the second cloth and dab it dry. One thing to note, the clean section may appear different , ie cleaner than the remainder of the seat depending how dirty they are so you may have to clean an expanded area or you can clean the entire seat with that method. Hopefully by using the diluted method with the wet towel you can get around that though. Good luck keep your friend out of your car until he gets some respect.
