Corner Balance
I have been chasing down suspension gremlins for the past 2 or so years, or a little after I installed my suspension. I tried everything, except for Corner Balancing.
It became predictable, my front driver wheel would began to loose its alignment first, and soon the whole car felt sloppy until the next alignment. After each one, it drove straight but never felt like it connected on all 4s. Knowing i need yet another alignment for the 6+ time over 2 or so years I decided to get a corner balance, and felt the difference immediately as I left the parking lot. I felt the tires rolling on the road, rather than going against the grain. The steering rack didnt squeak at low speed turns, and was responsive at high speeds. The car went where I pointed the steering. Wandering wheel syndrome, gone. Front rake, gone. Oversteer, gone. Lesson learned here is Corner Balance is a MUST after a fresh set of Coliovers on this platform. :bonk: List of Upgrades.... - Rays Gram Light 57DR 18x9.5 - BFGoodrich Sport COMP-2 255/35 - Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers - Cusco Front & Rear Sways - Cusco Diff Brace - Skunk2 Catless Headers - JDL Mid & Over Pipe - Custom Cat-back (Vibrant piping & V-bands) - 3" CAI - JDM center arm rest - JDM rain visors - Other random bits https://s31.postimg.org/5de9bewtj/CCI07292016.jpg https://s31.postimg.org/qfnw01ktz/IMG_8685.jpg |
