Order Updates in Atlanta
 

So I called to check my VON, again, and this time they checked a little harder i guess, and e-mailed me later that day saying that my car will be delivered in NOVEMBER :mad0259:
I think I'm #5 of 5 at Subaru of Gwinnett. Is anyone else in the southeast getting any new info? I'm curious where everyone stands in this area that hasn't gotten their car yet. like what number you were at your dealership and what your "due date" is.

#2 of 3 at Troncalli Subaru in Cumming, GA. I called SoA a couple days ago and was told my CBS Premium VON had the status "order processing", which means it's on the boat headed for the US. No VIN or ETA yet but my sales guy told me to expect it at the end of July, so it seems to be on schedule to get both in the next couple weeks!

Oh man that sucks... I contacted SOA about 2 weeks ago, and all they said was "no new information". Which wasn't very helpful at all. I'm trying to only follow up on it only about once a month, since I was told from the beginning to expect delivery in August, but damn it, I'm still getting antsy. I've noticed that it looks generally like a 4 month turn around time from order to VIN assignment (110 - 120 days)

#7 of 8 at Stivers Subaru in Decatur, ordered 4/7

I ordered 3/23 and am supposedly #1 of 8 at Stivers and I still don't have an ETA or VIN. In the meantime Stivers received 3 BRZs...2 pre-ordered and 1 "extra" that they refused to sell to me.

This is getting tiresome.

What the hell? why wouldn't he sell it to you? Also did you see my other post in the southeast forum about Subaru of Gwinnett having one for sale?

Dealer said that he spoke with SoA and was told that he couldn't sell it to me. If he did then he would "get in trouble"...his allocations could be impacted. I think the dealer ordered an extra for themselves to sell and didn't sell it to me since they have my non-refundable deposit. Should've gone elsewhere...

They called me last month to ask if I would be interested in that car. I thought someone on this forum already claimed it, though.

Hey Kwood, do you know what colors/trims Stivers has already recieved? It may give us an idea on what SOA's sending down the pipeline.

The extra one was a Limited WRB AT with option package 1A and was acquired by a member here. I believe another was Silver MT, but don't know the third.

All are MT except the extra and mine, which is a Limited WRB AT. Funny how they wouldn't offer me the extra.

JPM was supposed to get number 3 at SoK, but it was pushed back for some reason. They've received 3 cars in. The dealer doesn't know when they'll get theirs in. :(

Hey Kwood, I just got off the phone with James, after reading on another forum that cars will be hitting the east coast soon. He said he's sold 2 cars (obviously the 2 allotments you mentioned) and that they're getting 3 cars in August (after checking his pipeline). He'll let me know as soon as he gets VIN information on those cars, which only gets assigned once they're off the boat. he didn't mention the random one they got, though. Here's hoping our cars are in that batch...

Got my VIN today for my CBS Premium MT! ETA is on the original target of 7/30 at Troncalli Subaru in Cumming! #2 out of 3 allocated for this year! :happyanim:

Talked with SoA a couple of days ago and was told an ETA of August/September. Subaru really screwed up this whole pre-order business...not impressed by either SoA or James at Stivers, which has NEVER returned my calls or emails. Not the way to have return customers. :mad0260:
