It's like any other product in life, branding and peace of mind in authenticity and fitment in this case are why Subaru and STi choose to charge so much for these.

Sad thing is most people actually pay more then that cause of the installation labor charge. He's right on MSRP brand new price though. They aren't cheap from Subaru. I just priced them myself for my car. First thing I said was, "Oww."

Bump though for them being authentic. I can tell in the pic they are real. I install them from time to time. you know what to look for.

not a bad deal, here in orlando subaru changed my front lip and it was 550. insurance paid for it but still expensive.
