Driver side trunk button doesn't work.

Driver side interior trunk button does nothing when pushed or held. Fob release works, actual trunk release works, but the driver's button does not. I already ruled out the valet button.

Checked all fuses, didn't find any blown. But it' isn't listed anywhere on the panels or in the book. I just can't figure it out.

Read user's manual lol!

On the inside of the trunk there's a little button on the side that will disable any electronic methods of opening the trunk. You most likely pressed it by accident (or somebody else did), but just press it again and it will turn off.

Apha, check the wires on the switch. The default setting is switch closed so if a wire came off it is now open. There was a guy on here that had a wire come off and he chased the problem for weeks before he found it.

I did man! lol I may be a beginner on the forum but not in life haha.

Nowhere on or in the car does it state the driver side trunk release even has a fuse, only a button and a description of what it does.

Order of electrical issue trouble shooting:

1) Does the battery have enough juice? If no charge. If yes step 2.

2) Is there a blown fuse? If yes replace fuse (and the oft forgotten find out why blew). If no move to step 3.

3) All connections on both ends of circuit in place, clean and firm? In no then hook back up. If yes step 4

4) Are there any obvious breaks in or pinched wires? If yes repair or replace wire. If no step 5.

5) Are you even able to find and fix the problem? Probably not, so curse and mutter, kick the tire, go grab a beer and take it to somebody else in the morning. Or, come on here and ask what it might be and then start back at number one.
