Upside down: Oil on road + wet = game over :(

The corner next to bus stop had oil and light drizzle.

Totaled? :)

Walked away - no injury whatsoever.

Managed to line up 3 patches of oil, 2 on outside wheel line, 1 on inner line. Police ruled no fault.

2017 model is just around the corner I guess.

From now on you will be known as "nogrip."

Glad you're ok.

Mine was a bit worse than that. Cost about cad12,500 to fix.

In the exact spot I went off there are a couple of accidents a year, every year for at least 40 years. It's a baaaad corner, which has buses doing a u-turn all day every day, and spilling out all kinds of fluids. The guy whose front yard I ended up in had to get a Honda removed from his yard 2 weeks ago.

Fortunately, I'm insured.

Dude you need to work on your wheel gap.
Just kidding man. Im glad you're okay. I hope everything goes well for the car transition!

Diesel near bus stops, yuck!! Light drizzle added to the mix a fucking disaster in the making. Count ourselves lucky as we have four contact patches, I feel sorry for the bikers!

Dang son... I've always wondered what it feels like to roll a car. I'm sure it's pretty hard to in these cars with the low CoG though. Glad it held up and you're OK though. Just count it off as a rally incident. :P

The first time it happens it's disconcerting. The second time it's like "why the F did I do that..?" I don't know what it feels like the third time :iono:

yet :bonk:

It does make me feel a little better seeing how sturdy these roof pillars are, in the event of a roll.

Fortunately has been quite a lot of progress in passenger cell protection since Frank Williams' accident.

An Oil Slick on a wet road is no joke, it's almost as bad as ice.

Coming up to an intersection with two left hand turn lanes, I was in the inner lane of the turn. I saw the oily sheen and reduced my speed to about 7-8MPH (Normal speed for that wide of a corner is probably 15-25MPH). Even then my car slid through the second lane and into the the third before I regained grip. Lucky for me there is no one in the outside turn lane.

Your most definitely not totaled.

Good buddy rolled his a lot worse than that and he was hoping it was totaled but it wasn't.

Maybe if you would of found one of those trees on the way down it would been different.
