Read that wrong first time through and thought "well that is a little extreme for a rattle"

Door lock rattles
Rear deck rattles (fixed this one with some WD40 in the trunk)
Stereo area rattles
Dash rattles, near driver's side air vent

I don't like driving with the stereo on, I'm a bit of an audiophile, and the speakers really don't cut it for me.

Generally I can ignore them, but when they all start rattling at the same time it's just so frustrating to hear in a car with less than 5k miles, driven rather conservatively.

brother what do you expect for a $25k sports car

every. single. rattle can be tempered down with some CLD/sound dampening or lubrication on this platform. There are plenty of places for squeaking and rattling to happen on all modern cars... guess what most OEM do- find those rattles and put some foam or CLD where the source is. Voila.

My car has about 35k on it. The only time I really have rattles is really cold mornings. Other than that just road noise from the lack of insulation and the occasional squeak over really rough road.

I find it hilarious when people think these cars have lots of rattles and noises! I guess 30 years of increased soundproofing have muted squeaks, clicks and rattles that used to be so normal even in brand new cars that the younger generation has no idea what a noisy car is. The 86 seems perfectly silent in comparison.
Find somebody to take you in a 60s base model Duster or Dart with it's all steel inner door panels and dash, hard plastic sheets as carpeting and zero padded or soft touch anything and hear what a real noisy car is all about! Just closing the door in one of those things sounded like a gong being rung!

Fixed 4 rattles and still have 2 left.

Rear deck lid - WD40 and white lithium grease
Rear seat latches - felt tape around the latch
Driver dash rattle - Shoved a long piece of insulation foam between the front windshield and dash.
Seatbelt strap squeak - The leather seatbelt guide/strap squeaks in the BRZ ltd seats. Taped a thin strip of felt under the strap to eliminate contact between the leather and seatbelt.

Steering column ticking - No idea where it is coming from
Passenger B-pillar rattle - Minor rattle, haven't fixed yet.

Actually I'm the opposite, I used to think my car is too quiet. Now my exhaust makes everything vibrate.....just a bit. LOL

So I guess I need some in the trunk badly LOL
