3" front pipe to 2.5 or stock overpipe?
 

I have a 3" JDL frontpipe that is going on a car and just now we realized that its going to need something to make it work with a stock overpipe. can you make the flanges seal with a stock overpipe?

would a 2.5" overpipe be useful in this situation?

would going to a 3" overpipe be the answer? if so would i have to run a 3" header as well?

Yes, I'm aware that 3" is overkill. The car already has a 3" perrin exhaust and now there is a JDL 3" front pipe waiting to go on. the owner wants it LOUD.

Email JDL Auto Deisgn and order a 2.5 inch over pipe with a 3inch flange on the overpipe to front pipe connection. Problem solved.

short of having a custom piece made...
